About this
The “social sharing” of the lived experiences of case managers is my WHY and the inspiration for building this site. I wanted to develop a social media platform to bring awareness to the everyday practice of case management. And also, use this site as a landing page for diverse communities of case managers to have one space for discovery, connectivity, and professional support.
For over 20 years, I have nurtured an insatiable passion for case management and the incredibly deserving patients/clients we serve. For most of my career, I have been able to engage directly with the case management process at a clinical, administrative, or policy level. But more recently, my career has afforded opportunities to serve in executive leadership positions with some of the most senior military, federal, and congressional professionals in our government. Nevertheless, case management was always there…always in my subconscious, shaping my perspectives, fueling my involvement with the Case Management Society of America, and driving my “why”.
In a few short months, I will transition from active military service to private practice and embark upon an internet journey to discover the case management landscape online. The initial search for clinical case managers did not yield the results I anticipated. Thus, the launch of Case Management Moments. I know you/we are out there… our clients and patients and families who make up the mosaic of our community. Let’s meet new colleagues and re-connect with partners to advocate for our professional practice as we assist families to realize life-changing successes
